Stand N6224, NAB 2017, Las Vegas: TMD, the leading provider of media asset management solutions for physical and digital assets, was presented with the prestigious Broadcast Beat Award for their new MediaMiSR bolt-on product in the content management category, at the end of NAB2017.
The winning product is part of TMD's new range, which was launched at the Show. The MediaMiSR enhancement provides sophisticated integration with third-party scheduling systems, automatically raises workflows based on those schedules, reports on missing content and manages cache storage for transmission-ready content for playout systems.
Other bolt-ons include MediaPackages, which provides complete workflow management for the creation and delivery of packages to non-linear / OTT platforms. And MediaLines, which provides complete management for the scheduled recording of live feeds.
They are all designed to add functionality to the existing range of media service applications, which run on the Mediaflex-UMS platform. For example, MediaMiSR can be added to Paragon+, the content management solution, to drive workflow management from your program schedules.
MediaPackages can now enhance the functionality of OnPoint, the post production management solution, to deliver non-liner packages directly from post production. MediaPackage can also now be added to Paragon+, the content management solution, to provide complete workflow management for non-linear delivery.
“It’s an honour and a pleasure to win this highly prestigious award for our new product at NAB2017” said Carlton Smith, CEO of TMD. “It is a fantastic way to end what has been another very successful show. We have received a great response to our cost-effective, scalable media asset management solutions.”
