TMD Broadcast Asia Preview

This year's Broadcast Asia will see TMD present Version 4 of its Mediaflex suite of media business applications. Mediaflex Version 4 provides the ultimate portfolio for media-centric organisations to better create, manage and monetise their media content.

TMD will also be showing the latest enhancements to its i-mediaflex Digital Asset Management platform.

At the BCA2011 International Conference, Tony Taylor, Chairman & CEO of TMD will be speaking on Implementing Digital Asset Management and Workflows in Archive Organisations. Attendees will be given an insight on the challenges faced by archive organisations to cater for the increasing size of their collections and of implementing solutions that have to manage vast quantities of physical assets, such as tape and film, whilst digitisation processes and file-based workflows are being defined and put into operation.

Mediaflex

Mediaflex Version 4 continues to push the boundaries of what MAM/DAM should and can be used for. It includes new user-configurable screen layouts along with significant data model enhancements enabling clients to design their own metadata schema. Workflow developments include new integrations with broadcast technologies including Amberfin iCR, Rhozet Carbon Coder and Harris Nexio servers.

i-mediaflex

Building on the core Mediaflex MetaServer, i-mediaflex provides a web-based applications environment for users to search, browse and create media workflow processes from the wider enterprise and beyond. This new functionality from standard web browser-based desktops along with the ability to raise and administer media workflows from any location is why i-mediaflex is becoming the DAM system of choice for many of the largest and most innovative content owners throughout the world.
