Mediaflex Architecture

At TMD we recognise that not all businesses are the same. So we designed the Mediaflex architecture  to provide a highly flexible, scalable and modular system, to meet the demands of the unique nature of your business. The system consists of a core applications platform with the ability to add additional modules that extends its functionality to the business units and operational areas as required.

The 4 components that form the basis of the core applications platform are:

Mediaflex MetaServer - provides the core database environment and the highly efficient and extensible data model.
Mediaflex Workflow- provides the core workflow management engine designed specifically for delivering business efficiency throughout the content lifecycle.
Mediaflex Resources - provides the core system configuration and management engine along with the core communications engine for the Service Managers and Service Adapters
Mediaflex Clients - provide the graphical user interfaces and applications functionality in both a platform independent web browser and a MS Windows environment

Mediaflex is configured with a set of additional modules that extends the funtionality and workflows available to suit the type of organisation along with that organisations specific business requirements.

Scaling Mediaflex
Mediaflex scales from small workgroup solutions supporting just a few users with specific workflows to fully featured enterprise solutions with hundreds of users and multiple complex workflows, fully integrated into an organisation’s business systems environment.

Mediaflex is offered on three core application platform licences

• Mediaflex Enterprise; fully featured with no sizing limitations. Mediaflex Enterprise is offered for large scale ‘enterprise” wide systems with multiple complex workflows, integration with business systems or multi site operations
• Mediaflex Standard; scaled for the midsized organisation, Mediaflex Standard offers a sub set of the full Enterprise feature set with a number of the enhanced features requiring additional optional licences. Mediaflex Standard is upgradable to Mediaflex Enterprise.
• Mediaflex LE; provides an entry level solution for small workgroups operating with specific workflows within an organisation. The Mediaflex LE license supports a maximum sized hardware platform and is supplied as pre configured packages for standard Mediaflex workflows. Mediaflex LE is upgradable to Mediaflex Standard
